LIM -Week 171 One layer challenge

I haven't visited the Less is more challenge blog for absolutely ages, (I'e been busy with other projects)  so I have some free time on my hands right now, I wanted to join in and have some fun.

Here are my two cards for the one layer challenge for this week...

I have stamped everything straight onto the A5 watercolour card - masking out parts along the way.  For the flowers and leaves I used vaious stamps from the Flowers for Pots sheets that I designed for Joanna Sheen
I drew the shape for the hanging basket by drawing around the Joanna Sheen Signature Hanging basket die.  All of these dies are fantastic to use on cards but as this is a one layer card I just used the shape to colour onto the card.  I used a mixture of Tim Holtz distress inks and gel pens to water colour the image.

Again I have stamped straight onto the 8" x 8" cream card making stamped images as I went along.  The Jug is a stamp from Joanna Sheen Natures Lace stamp sheet.  The lovely Hydrangeas are from Joanna Sheen - Summer Flowers for Pots stamp sheet.
The Lace border is from the Take One Step Lace Stamp sheet from Joanna Sheen  and the bow is from the Joanna Sheen Thinking of You Vintage floral Stamp sheet.  The letter tiles are just cut up pieces  that I put on the card before inking the background, I then added little dots and wrote the letters in at the end. I finished with adding a squigley line around the edge of the card.

Thank you for visiting today.. I hope to join in more often with the weekly challenges on the Less is More blog.

Hugs x
