26th June ~FREEBIE~

Today I have made a background paper for you to print and use how ever you like. I love Roses and they are everywhere you look at the moment.. Here is the backing paper.. it measures A5 (8 x 6") approx print size.

Although the background is pink... it can easily be changed in any graphics program. Plus, if you want it to be a little less bold, try printing it out using the 'draft' setting on your printer options.
I have printed this out using normal and draft for the two cards I have made. I am not totally happy with the cards as they just wouldn't go right for me, I have an enormous headache and I think it's messing with my cardmaking mojo Lol.. anyway, I will share them anyway, so here are the two card examples using the Freebie background. The first one with the dragonfly is with the normal print.. and the second one with the mice is one I printed out on draft.. it is much paler. The dragonfly is a rubber stamp from the Sparkle and Romance collection that I designed for Joanna Sheen.

I hope you find this useful and inspiring in some way and I really would love to see any projects you make using the Rose Background..

Are you enjoying the weekend?.. the weather has turned very hot here - I think I might be melting!!!

Gorgeous DCWV Black currant Stack

I've had my eye on this stack ever since I first saw it on line. The colour is simply gorgeous! I treated myself to one a few weeks back so I thought I'd share some of the cards I have made with it so far.. mainly for Mother's Day - which has just gone for us in the UK..

I have used cream cardstock and the evening bag rubber stamps I designed for Joanna Sheen a while back that is part of the Sparkle and Romance collection., I couldn't resist using some JS purfume bottle stamps too and for the 3rd one I stamped the background with a beautiful Elusive Images stamp. I think that this stack is just crying out for girly cards and projects and needs lots of bling LOL!

Thanks for visiting..

2nd May Sunday ~FREEBIE~

Hello,

I'm back again - Thank you for get well wishes, I am feeling much better now although I do still have a few lingering spots from the Chicken Pox which should clear up soon I hope.

This week's ~FREEBIE~ is a drawing I have done of an old time photo of a pretty film star from nearly 100 years ago! I hope you like her and have fun using her on your cards..and I would love to see how you use her.
Here she is...

and here is a card I have made with her on... plus I have used one of my rubber stamped bag designs currently on sale on the Joanna Sheen website (Sparkle and Romance collection)
