For this card I have used Laura Ashley velvet paper and Chatsworth stamps, I have used a pearl pen to add her necklace, buttons and earings etc. and a Martha Stewart deep edge punch.
This card is an A5 size card. I used the lovely Papermania Henbury lane papers they are sooo pretty!.. layered onto my own foiled purple pattern paper.

Well that's it... I hope you enjoy using this lady and I always welcome all of your lovely comments - some with links to your own blogs with cards you have made with one of my images, Thank you so much for sharing these with me, I love to see how my fellow crafters play with them.

Sunday 25th July ~FREEBIE~

Hello, it's Sunday again!!

I was inspired by some old dressmaking patterns so I drew this lovely lady for you this week. I hope you like her...

Doesn't she look happy and just great for Birthday cards, Party invites or just to say Hello..
Here are 2 cards I had fun making today using her... I tried paper piecing so haven't actually kept those large polka dots!...I added some bling with a Sakura clear stardust pen on her headband, bangles, belt and shoes.. I used Papermania Rose Garden papers on the first card
..and I used Dovecraft Hint of pink papers on the card below plus I reversed the image to do this one. For bling I added glitter and gems.
I will put more cards here later today so watch this space....

If you like my images you can see more at the Stitchy Bear Stamp shop all images are 30% off for a period of time, the link will take you straight to 'Sylvie's Stamps' page.

Do you like my new look blog.. ?.. I especially like my Blog header at the top.. I created it using a picture I altered of myself at Photofunia but be warned... you can never create just one..!!

Sunday 18th July ~FREEBIE~

Hello... I'm back again this week with another FREEBIE!.. I drew the owl this morning and then decided to make it brown outline instead of black so that you can change the colour if you want to... Owls are pretty much in at the moment.. in all shapes, sizes and colours... so have lots of fun!

Here's my card with the owl... a night time scene..
I used some pearl foil on a circle to make the moon 'shine'.. but before I stuck it down I used some rub-on pastes - pearl lustre and silver and some midnight - to give the glow around the moon...it looks so much better in the flesh because it really does give a good moonglow effect..try it and see. I think you can guess that I used a Martha stewart leaf punch with shiney patterned black and green papers. I coloured the owls with promarker pens and added a little glitter to each bird. The backing paper is from a freebie 6" paper stack that came with the August issue of Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine...well worth it! I distressed the edges, then inked with Tim holtz walnut stain and then added a touch of brown glitter and I am really pleased with the look..... I was inspired by Cards by Kim... her cards are just beautiful.

Have a great weekend everyone and don't forget to share your creations, I'd love to see what you do with him/her.

Sunday 11th July ~FREEBIE~

Hello
I have two freebies this week. They are drawings based on a photo of my oldest Son having his first cuddle of my youngest Son while I was still in the hospital back in 1986.
Here's the first image

... then I thought it would be fun to draw a little girl holding the baby as well, and it's funny because she looks like my daughter did when she was about 4 years old, maybe it's a subconscious thing Lol! anyway, here she is..

I think that these images will be useful for cards to give a big brother or sister when baby is born, so that they can feel special too. Of course they can be used for big Sister and Brother to give to new baby .. anyway.. here are a few cards I have made...
I hope you enjoy colouring these and using them. I would love to see your cards and projects so please feel free to use the 'Add your link' button below to show us all.

Bye for now and happy crafting!

Sunday 4th July ~FREEBIE~

Thankyou for all your lovely comments for last Sunday's free image and tutorial.

What with Christmas all over the craft channels I just had to do something summery to get away from it....so this week I have carried on with the theme of 'drinks' ... and have drawn a Lemonade Pitcher and glasses.

- here is the card I have created using these.
I coloured the pitcher and glasses with promarkers (Ivory, vanilla, Tea green and Ice grey and a white gel pen) The flowers are punched with added gems, the letters, Butterflies and trellis are from Martha Stewart punches.
Thankyou for visiting my blog and I hope I have inspired you to print - colour - and play.
