Vintage Christmas stamp samples

Joanna Sheen launched her brand new Vintage Christmas stamps the other day.  I designed these for her, here are my sample cards.

I used a snowflake punch to make the greenery.  The pine cones and the birds on the holly images are on the Make a Wish stamp sheet.  I made the shimmery background using mica sprays.

I love making anything that used honeycomb papers. I made them the same way as the Honeycomb hearts  I made back in February. These baubles have gold embossed Reindeers  running along them, the pine cone, background baubles and pine cones are on the Make a Wish stamp sheet.
 Here they are opened up...

I stamped the large single Poinsettia serveral times, enough to cut out and layer them up. The topper is also one of the stamps on the Make a Wish stamp sheet.
The backing paper is from the wonderful brand new Joanna Sheen Victorian Christmas Cards CD

I stamped the same Poinsettia spray to make this topper.  First I stamped and embossed it with white powder onto Vellum, coloured it on the back with promarker pens, then I run this through the cuttlebug in the frame embossing folder.  I also embossed the red card with the same folder.  I cut out the middle part from the red so that the vellum one could sit inside it from behind, the whole thing was layered onto gold paper to give the topper a gold glow through the vellum. I stamped the lace border also on vellum and layered it on some green mirror card.

Using the vintage radio as inspiration I made this card.  I cut the card into a radio shape adding various brown card, some embossed, some I used a pen to add details. I used peeloffs too. The knobs are buttons with nail heads (like a smaller card candy) in silver glued on top.
Inside I added music sheets that I had inked with distress inks and stamped white snowflakes, also on the Make a Wish sheet.  I added more brown craft paper before adding the Vintage radio topper and  flowers.  The Hellibores (Christmas Roses) are on the same sheet.

For this card I used the Christmas tree from the Starlight Starbright sheet of stamps.  I cut a pentagon from vellum, layering it onto blue card.  I then stamped the tree 5 times also onto vellum - arranging them around the pentagon to make a star shape.  The blue background has some of the pretty snowflakes from the same sheet along with the Star Light and Star Bright words.  I added lines with a white gel pen to give the impression of the star shining.

This card uses a lovely oval frame sizzix embossing folder, I inked one side of the folder with red before I run it through the machine giving the frame some colour. The background is stamped with various colours of the snowflake stamp.  The topper is the lovely Father Christmas on the Starlight Starbright sheet. and so are the Christmas Roses and Baubles that I stamped onto vellum.

I like stamping the snowflake in different colours.. the still look so festive.  The Amaryllis flowers are on the Starlight Starbright sheet. I decoupaged the flowers for a more 3D feel.

I stamped and coloured the Vintage Radio topper with promarker pens.  I used a snowflake boarder punch to cut some vintage music layering them onto green and red also punched boarders.  The Chritmas Roses are the mini ones from the sheet.

The window is a mini shaker window.. with the reindeer stamped for the background in the window.  The festive banner looks wonderful decoupaged at the top and the paper chains are cut out to look like they've been hung up!  The poinsettia was stamped several times but some coloured green with the red ones layered up on the top.

Thanks for visiting and looking at my blog today.
