I hope everyone in England had a wonderful Bank holiday weekend.. It's been busy, busy in our house with decorating going on.. very tiring!

Anyway... for this weeks freebie I have drawn 2 little girls butterfly catching.. It was inspired by a vintage magazine cover back in the 1920's..

I can't believe how quickly the week just flies by! It's time for another freebie from me.
This week I have chosen to draw a little girl delighted with her cupcake.. inspired by an old vintage postcard. Here she is:

I hope you like her, I had great fun using promarkers to colour her in that I made 2 cards to share this week..
... and here is the second card with a very different look...
I used a piece of gold foil for the cupcake case and used rub-ons in yellow to give a glow...not sure it works that well, but I had fun playing... I hope I have inspired you and would love to see what you create with this image and any of my other freebies.. I love to see them on your creations..

Mid week card....

Hello with just a mid-week quicky,

I couldn't resist making another card with this weeks freebie ...

I coloured them with promarkers and inked the background.. the papers are from Dovecraft - Amethyst. I used a MS picket fence punch for the border and the lovely HUG heart is from Create with TLC

I love the images on those vintage adverts for soap and cologne etc... I saw one with a little boy cuddling his dog and was inspired to create my own version with a little girl instead.

Like the owl, a previous freebie, I decided not to save this as a black and white image so that you can colourize if you want too..as dogs are different shades.. I would love to see how you use this.

Here's a card I made today..

I used various papers from my stash and made the roses with the same papers. The paw prints embossed paper was made with a sizzix embossing folder and rubbed lightly with ink. Promarkers were used to colour the image and the dictionary 'cuddle' quote is a freebie from a fantastic website called Create with TLC (Thanks for that). Tearing and inking the edges of the image gives it a nice look plus the punched edges from EK succes.
