I used glossy card for the grand piano, Martha steward edge punch for the decoration and the keyboard has been embossed. I layered the pages on the little book to create a 3D look to it.
I got the idea for the pop up piano keys from the internet HERE but I changed it a little to make some of the white piano keys look like they are playing a tune.
The keyboard was stamped with versafine ink and then I covered the whole lot with versamark and used clear embossing powder to give a nice shiny look. I embossed the butterflies with white embossing powder and inked with milled lavendar distress ink. I don't know if anyone will notice that the bodies of the butterflies are made up of treble clefts. Lol.. The paper and letters are from the Rose garden Papermania pad and I made the rose to match.

The musical background was stamped with a stazon ink pad onto a piece of wide cream ribbon. I cut a small piece off for the pocket and tied the longest piece into a simple knot. I poked this through a small hole in the shirt then layered the black card for the jacket on top. The pinstripes are created with a clear stardust pen. The smaller mini easel with the gramaphone stamped keeps the larger easel suit upright.
.. and here's the last one of the samples.
I used my own foiled crackled background and some lovely wallpaper on the base of the card. I stamped the gramaphone onto cream card using distress inks to age it and I embossed another one in white onto some Papermania paper then die cut the bauble shape - I triple embossed it to give a lovely shine. Most of the edges have had stickles rubbed sparingly to add a little sparkle. The keyboard, book and charms all added with the Anna griffin holly to finish it off.

I hope you have enjoyed reading today's post. I really enjoyed making these cards and I am really pleased with how my designs can be used as rubber stamps.
