Lace and Knitting Stamps Day 2 with freebie

Hello, I'm back again with the next 3 card samples from the Goals you Reach Lace stamp sheet

Here is my first card..
The first thing I did for this card is draw a bodice template to fit the size of the lace stamp , If you would like to use the template I made - here it is... simply save to your computer and print it out for your own use.The first thing I did was to draw around the bodice lightly with pencil. I stamped the small flower border at the top and embossed it.. then stamped the 3 larger flower motifs and embossed those too. Then I stamped 3 extra and embossed them in black - to cut out and layer later. I cut out the bodice using patterned scissors at the top, then I coloured the it using distress ink - Aged mahogony, masking the top area to give it more of a realistic look. I glued the black flowers over the 3 red ones down the middle, the dots are made with a versamark pen and embossing powder. Once I was happy with the bodice I stamped the lace corner twice...embossing one with black powder and one with the red. I cut part of the red and paper pieced it on top of the black and glued it to the bottom of the bodice. I used two layers of black fringing attaching to the back with DST... then finished the bodice off with black and red gems.
I cut out a panel of black card layering with some commercial handmade paper cut to size by moistening the edges and pulling apart to leave the frayed edge look. I stamped the Lace border onto some cream paper and embossed with black embossing powder, cut it out and stuck down the side of the panel. The stitching is a gel pen. I lightly inked the card with Antique linen distress ink, added the panel, then the bodice and finished off with the 30 Today banner with a stamped and embossed bow from the 'Live each moment' Lace stamp sheet.

Here's the second sample card idea I made with this sheet of stamps..
I used the small flower motif boarder to create the word 'Mum'... stamped with versamark and embossed with white powder. I then coloured the panel with blue distress ink. I stamped and embossed the lace border and the bow the same way. A Martha steward punch was used for the top and bottom borders lightly inked in blue with added pearls. I added little tiny blue star gems to each flower in the Mum...I think this card looks obvious on how I put it together .

And here is the third card

This card has lovely Roses backing paper printed from the Jane Shasky CD rom..
I stamped the border 4 times onto cream paper and embossed with brown embossing powder and also the lace corner 4 times embossing this with white powder. I inked over the white embossed corners with brown - wiping after to take the ink of the embossing..leaving it white on brown. I carefully matched the 4 borders up to create a frame and then trimmed each of the lace corners to fit within the frame. I cut a larger circle to also fit the frame. I stamped the verse onto cream card, trimming to fit within the circle to look like part of it, finishing off by adding some pink ribbon, some gorgeous Anna Griffin Roses stickers and gems around the frame.

I hope that these cards will inspire you in some way.
Many Thanks for visiting my blog today, I will be back tomorrow with some more of the sample cards I made for the Lace and Knitting Stamps.
