Here's the embossed frame with some poinsettia diecuts from Anna Griffin Christmas papers and down the edge. Snowflakes are Martha Stewart punch.
I recently got the gorgeous Anna Griffin 18th century stamp library to play with and this is one of the first cards I made with them.
I embossed the frame lightly rubbing metallic rub ons while it was still in the folder (to help keep the colour on the raised parts only). I made the roses from another sizzix die using Tim Holtz inks to colour them. The rose leaves are also die cut but the Ivy leaves are rubber stamped.. they come from Joanna Sheens Pressed flower stamps. The lacey border is from the JS Girly things rubber stamp sheet. I love the spider web netting that I used for the bottom part of the card.
I cut the frame out after embossing for this card. The stamped sentiment is from my stash, I embellished it with tiny gems and stars. Both papers are HOTP.
Thanks for looking today.. I will be back tomorrow with more cards I have made using the beautiful Anna Griffin 18th century stamp set.
Bye for now
