Thanks for looking
See you soon.

Both the backing paper and the 'In the garden my soul is Sunshine' sentiment were printed from Joanna Sheen's Jane Shasky CD - I used 2 of the framed words but glued the stamped image over one of them. The stamped image is coloured with promarker pens. I added a doily, wide mesh type ribbon and finished it off with some stamped and coloured flowers from Joanna Sheen Pressed flower stamps.
..for this card I tore strips of white wash coordinations card, rubbed each piece with fine sand paper to distress it a little, then lightly inked the edges also adding some Tim Holtz distress stickles to the bottom edges.. I stuck these strips directly onto the card after I stuck the punched and lightly inked doily edges... creating a lovely shabby chic looking background. I stamped the image with brown distress inks and used both promarkers and inks to colour it in. Using water to take off the ink by blotting, where the white flowers are. Adding the ribbons and the Tim Holtz die cut flowers etc... finished the card.
I used a backing paper from the Jane Shasky CD from the herb garden section. After colouring the image with promarker pens, I die cut it and inked the edges. I placed it on the card with some of Joanna Sheen's Pressed flower Ivy leaves and some ribbon roses. Narrow lilac ribbon and tiny red buttons that tie in with the red watering can and finshed the card.Definition:in shades of one colour, using or displaying only shades of one colour or black & white.
The punched border is because I stuck the paper on Wonky!!.. so it covered that up... actually I rather like it more with the border... so it's a Happy accident as they say.. Here's the next card using 2 strips of the same background paper.
Thank you for visiting.. I hope you like what you see.
...as you can see I used the long side of the die to cut the top of the card creating a pretty edge. My cuttlebug had no problem cutting through the two layers of card together. I did this by slipping the cutting edge at the top of the card and the rest of the die behind the folded card... I taped it in position with low tack tape to keep it in place.
I used Dovecraft Eastern Promise papers. The stamped rose is from Joanna Sheens Pressed flower stamps.. the Rose sheet. For my digi stamp - I stamped it twice, once onto white card and then again onto one of the 6 x 6 sheets from the Eastern Promise pad, cutting out the ladies kimono and then glueing it onto the image already coloured in with promarker pens just adds so much more.. .. The fantastic sentiment is a freebie over at the TLC blog
I am really loving combining cream and white with black. I stamped the hydrangea stamp onto cream paper with black momento ink cut them out and added little pearls in the centre of each one then I used 2 other stamps to add the 'filler' foliage straight onto the card.. I really like the fresh look it has.
I added gems in the centre of these flowers.
