I got the beautiful 18th century stamp set by Anna Griffin some months ago. I love the Rose stamps included in this huge kit. I can't stop playing with them LOL.. I wanted to do the technique that Ali Reeve shows on the TV.. where she inks the stamp in the colours she wants.. spritz it with water, stamps onto damp spritzed paper letting the ink run, creating the coloured base for the stamp.. then drying it off with a heat gun to then over-stamp in black or what ever colour you choose. I couldn't stop doing them with this lovely stamp he he... so now I have a big pile of ready to use roses!!
I fancied adding glitter but instead of adding actual glitter for a bit of sparkle,so becasue this stamp is a clear one I re-stamped and embossed with holographic embossing powder.!..I have to say - I love the results!!
Here's a quick card I made using one of them..
.... here, the light catches the embossing...
.... this is the embossing powder I used.. it adds a lovely glitter holographic sparkle.
Thank you for popping by today... I have been busy but will be back with more of these Roses soon..
Hugs

DeleteBeautiful card Sylvie. Love the way they've been "watercoloured" and then overstamped. Such a great technique.
