Less is more week 31 - Metallic

I've been off the grid for a few weeks due to lots of other commitments and projects going on at the moment. This means I have missed a few challenges over at the Less is more blog. I had a bit of time this morning so I thought I would play along with the Metallic challenge set for us by the two Divas this week.

Anyone that knows me will know that I love anything to do with foiling, which of course includes the metallic kind, so I thought it would be fun to use one of the foiled frames I made years ago using 2 colour foils.. duo foiling Lol. I foiled matt purple and then over the top again with a lovely metallic blue... I love how the foiling is not crisp...it created a grungy look.

To give a completely different look to what I would have done years ago when I was playing and experimenting and ended up with these in the first place, I decided to give one a new clean crisp look on a white card.
Here's my card:
The photo doesn't really show how metallic the frame is.. I printed and foiled a lovely lady from JS Dancing with shadows CD way back when I did the frames, so decided to pop it inside the frame.

This card is simple, just what I needed after all the things I have been doing lately..:o)

Thanks for visiting today... see you soon
Hugs

  1. It's a lovely effect Sylvie and I'm only sorry that we can't see how beautiful it must look in the flesh so to speak!
I was inspired by your foiled dragonfly months ago and have never yet got the process sorted, but one of these days.....
