Lace and Knitting Stamps Day 1

Joanna Sheen launched some new stamps today on TV called Lace and Knitting Stamps. I designed them for Joanna Sheen and made some sample cards for ideas on how to use them.
Today I will share the cards using the stamps from the 'Live each Moment' stamp sheet

Here's my first card..
I got the template for this pretty little baby girl dress here. This card is roughly A5 in size. I stamped the pocket flap and a border of lace in white and then coloured it pink with distress inks. The bow is stamped pink as is the the little pocket shape using the little flower stamp on the sheet... I cut the lace in to sections and stuck under the apron hem and small pieces for the sleeves. I finished of with pretty stitching drawn with a glitter gel pen.

Here's my second card idea..
I stamped the border onto a piece of paper the exact size of the card base, masking off the corners so that they would join. On a piece of black card I used a square post-it note as a guide to stamp the four corner lace images and embossed them with white powder. I mat and layered the verse using a nestie shape and placed on top of a square cut to the size of the post it note.. both were inked lightly with Antique linen. A stamped bow and a few gems finish the card.

Here is the last card idea for this sheet of stamps...
I kept finding wonderful cards using the 'Bisque Potter technique' on various blogs and so decided to investigate it for myself and have a go.. I found this lady's blog to be most inspiring called 'Stamping with Di' for this technique using the cuttlebug folders.
I used the Tied together embossing folder for the panel on this card with Antique linen distress ink.
The card base has been stamped with the corner lace image using Antique linen and the border, the bow and the other lace corners around the verse were stamped and embossed with white powder and coloured with Aged Mahogony... the white stays white repelling the ink.
I made the roses using a spiral die cut and the leaves have been stamped lightly with the lace border. I finished with a few little red gems.

Thanks for visiting my blog today, I hope that these will inspire you in your own projects.
I will be back tomorrow with the second lot of card ideas using the second sheet of lace stamps.
